Introduction to Accounting
EasyERP is one of few ERP systems that include accounting functionality. This gives you the edge over other companies that have accounting software totally separated from the other parts of the company’s program, and use another software to run it.
One of EasyERP’s best features is its power to automate and analyze the vast majority of accounting operations, also quick and precise analysis decreases the chance of error and allows you to run your business more efficiently. We have created the EasyERP accounting module to automate as much of operations as possible that usually take a lot of time and staff to do on a monthly basis.
This set of instruments that are provided by EasyERP accounting module is a very powerful tool that can help you run your business efficiently, but you do need to know how to use it. In order to gain this knowledge, you will need to read the following documentation. Keep in mind that the purpose of this instruction is to show you how to use EasyERP accounting module, not to teach you the principles and terminology of accounting. So you will have to know a bit or two about the enterprise accounting process to start working with this module. However, we will cover some of the important aspects of the accounting process.
Every user that is using EasyERP probably will influence the accounting of your company in one way or another. Because every operation that is made with funds or valuable assets has to be documented in a specific way. All of this specific documentation is stored in accounting module of EasyERP. Every operation that is made in your enterprise will be mirrored in the accounting journals.
EasyERP uses the accrual method of accounting, it is the preferred method because it provides:
- a complete reporting of the company’s assets, liabilities, and stockholders’ equity at the end of an accounting period
- a more realistic reporting of a company’s revenues, expenses, and net income for a specific time interval such as a month, quarter or year.
To navigate and begin to work in the EasyERP accounting module click on the corresponding button in the main menu on the left.
